Research & Advocacy

We conduct evidence-based advocacy because of research findings to influence decision-making, either policy or practice; Aiming for positive and effective interventions to prevent and control non-communicable diseases. Working closely with the community, they grant us an opportunity to identify, understand, and prove advocacy issues from NCDs’ angles. We do this through research, community dialogues, NCD focus group discussions, interviews, and observations.

This approach enables us to bring forward the community’s needs, priorities and sakes by putting fundamental problems on the NCDs agenda. We then present findings in high-level meetings, media appearances, facilitate newspapers to do special features on NCDs, share stories/testimonies, publish articles, and organize local conferences/workshops for research reports publication, hence advocates for priorities.
