Rwanda NCD Alliance is set to host National NCD Conference in November 2021

The RNCDA is bringing to you the first-ever conference of its kind on NCDs in the vibrant city of Kigali. NCDs being internationally recognized as a global burden, silent killers, and economic disrupter, there is no time like now to act, address, and advocate for them. That's why in line with the urge to drive global change, not towards increasing documentation on the problem but true action, creating and sustaining initiatives that will not only impact the lives of PLWNCDs but create long-lasting solutions. This conference is set to happen on a biennial basis with its 1st edition themed NCD Multisectoral Collaboration Approach: Universal Health Coverage for Non-Communicable Diseases in November 2021. 

It will bring under the same roof multi-sectoral health and non-health actors, including policymakers and implementers, health professionals, researchers, academicians, CSOs, NCD alliances from different countries, PLWNCDs, and more than 800 delegates. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the physical participation will be invitation-based with the possibility to contribute and attend virtually. It will as well be live-streamed on the youtube channel and other digital platforms of Rwanda NCDA. Both physical and virtual delegates will have an opportunity to participate in the conference actively.
